Guangzhou Nansha Bonded Logistics Center is located on Longxue Island in Nansha, opposite Phase I & II of Port of Nansha. It is the main facility of Nansha International Distribution Park, covering a total area of 900,000 ㎡ of which 500,000 ㎡are for warehouse and 73,000 ㎡ for container yard. By end of 2006, it completed the construction of the hardware such as the monitoring system, information system, the entry & exit management system, the inspection center, warehouses(NO.1 & No.2) and the storage yard. Since February 2007, it has been in trial operations in the mode of "the public bonded warehouse" and "the export supervision warehouse". In October 2008, the approval by State Council to set up a bonded port in Nansha consisting of Port of Nansha , Nansha Bonded Logistics Park, Nansha Export Processing Zone and Seashore Terminal will help customers achieve more convenient Customs clearance and more efficient operations in all respects. The policy of bonded port would greatly reduce logistics costs for customers.
